Morning flight to Lhasa is better for your trip because the air in Tibet has 40% less oxygen, and altitude sickness may occur, then you will have more time to acclimate the attitude in the afternoon.    

Our guide will hold a sign with your name on it after you enter the arrival hall

Our guide and driver will escort you to your hotel, assist you with hotel check-in

Have a rest at hotel to avoid the altitude sickness

Note: foreign travelers will need a Tibet Entry Permit. Please Send your passport and China visa copies to us 20 days in advance; we will arrange our staff to give you the Tibet Entry Permit in any Chinese city.

                                       Potala Palace is one of the most magnificent heritages in China,                                          also is the highest altitude palatial architecture complex on                                                  earth, appreciate the majesty of this iconic Tibetan palace with a                                          large number of historical religious artifacts.    
03:30 PM – 04:00 PM    Drive to Barkhor Street

                                       Follow in the footsteps of pilgrims past and presen in this                                                    marketplace of old Lhasa and still amazingly evocative of old                                              Tibet.

                                      This was the summer palace of the Dalai Lamas, stroll around                                           this peaceful palace and beautiful gardens, which has plenty of                                         plants and is full of oxygen.    
10:30 AM – 10:45 AM    Drive to Drepung Monastery    
10:45 AM – 12:15 PM    Drepung Monastery
                                       Drepung Monastery is the largest monastery in Tibet, which is                                          built on the hillside, there are Buddhist rock paintings, Flowery                                          murals and richly colored drapes scattered around this                                                      impressive lamasery. 
12:15 PM – 12:30 PM    Drive to lunch restaurant    
12:30 PM – 01:30 PM    Lunch at local Tibetan/Napal Cuisine Restaurant    
01:30 PM – 02:00 PM    Drive to Sera Monastery 
02:00 PM – 04:30 PM    Sera Monastery 
                                       Watch monks debate Buddhist scripture at 3:30 PM in a                                                    courtyard of Sera Monastery
